CFE events are family-friendly. We appreciate the power of child involvement and love organizing events that associate health & fitness with fun & adventure. It teaches strong values and builds the health & fitness community for our future generations.

Community Fitness Events are fun & exciting, yet the legwork and time required to organize a successful event can be a challenging task to take on while still balancing the daily demands of running a facility. Allow CFE help support the growth and development of your community and our future by organizing an event at your facility!

About CFE’s Leadership Team

Shanna Duvall - Co-Founder

Shanna has been participating in various fundraisers and fitness events for over twenty years. She is passionate about providing an outlet for community-based activities that promote healthy lifestyles.

The growing popularity of the CrossFit Games presents a new paradigm for what defines “fitness” to the masses. Shanna decided to ride the idea of “exercise for time” to bring communities together with more opportunities than simply run/walk/bike events or cookie/candy bars/bake sales for traditional fundraising.

Shanna appreciates the surge of energy experienced while facing challenges with others. The group energy inspires a positive, supportive environment ideal for achieving new feats of strength & acceptance for discomfort. She appreciates the challenge and self-growth that comes with each experience.

Shanna strives to create fun & exciting event atmospheres welcoming to individuals who may not consider themselves “competitors”, while still challenging those who know they love competitive activities.

Jacob Ballard - Co-Founder

Jacob is the founder and principal of iWebXpert.com. He has been a member of CrossFit Asheville for over three years. When not working on the web, Jacob enjoys hiking, reading, exercising and spending time with friends and family. An entrepreneur since childhood, Jacob is passionate about entrepreneurship and internet marketing. With his passion for community and fitness in tow, Jacob joined Shanna and Corey in their mission to promote fun, fitness, health, and community while raising funds for various well-deserving charities and non-profits.
